Expand and Diversify your Board with Next Step

Updated: Apr 1, 2021

Partnering with the Haskayne School of Business, the Alberta School of Business, and the Alberta Board Development Program, Next Step is designed to match your organization with a recent business school graduate. These graduates have studied arts marketing and completed a specially designed non-profit governance course in preparation for service as a member of a non-profit board.

According to the Canadian Board Diversity Council, diversity in Board composition provides a wealth of talent, connections and perspectives as Boards benefit from well-credentialed individuals who bring a wider range of skills, experiences and perspectives to corporate governance. This translates to better discussion, greater diligence in decision-making and, ultimately, improved financial performance.
